New Draft Standard on Breast Milk Substitutes

The Rwanda Standards Board (RSB) has published "DRS 76: 2023, Breast milk substitutes — Code of marketing practices".
The Draft Standard applies to the marketing and practices concerning breast milk substitutes when marketed or recommended or otherwise presented for use as partial or total replacement of breast milk. These breast milk substitutes include infant formula, milk products, other complementary foods and beverages marketed, presented or recommended as breast milk substitutes. The Draft Standard applies to feeding bottles and teats.
