Dried Brewer's Bagasse included in the Argentinian Food Code

The Secretariat of Quality in Health and the Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries have published the Joint Resolution n. 29/2023, which introduces in the Argentinian Food Code the definition of "dry brewer's bagasse".

According to the amended art. 1083 bis of the Code, dry brewer's bagasse is the solid product resulting from the pressing and/or filtration of the brewer's wort, as defined in Article 1080 paragraph 1.1.6. of the Code, with a subsequent drying in the same brewing plant, which guarantees its adequate preservation.
