Health Canada and the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) are inviting to comment the proposal to mordenize the regulatory framework under the Food and Drug Regulations. The proposed Regulations pre-published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, on November 4, 2023 will be open for comment until February 2, 2024:
- Cannabis Regulations
- Pest Control Products Regulations
- Safe Food for Canadians Regulations
- Denatured and Specially Denatured Alcohol Regulations
- Pest Control Products Fees and Charges Regulations
The objectives of this regulatory proposal are to help make the Canadian food regulatory system more agile, transparent and responsive to new and emerging science, technology, market innovation and risks to health
