Guidelines for Online Sales of Special Foods published

The State Administration of Market Regulation (SAMR) has released the "Safety Compliance Guidelines for Special Foods Sold Online".
After the opinions and suggestions of relevant business entities, experts and scholars, the "Guidelines" were formulated to further standardize the sales of special foods by third-party online food trading platforms and online food operators, enhance their compliance awareness, and implement food safety subject responsibilities.
Special foods include health foods, foods prepared for special medical uses, and foods prepared for infants and young children, which are related to the health and life safety of key groups such as "the elderly and the young".
