Sugar alcohol content in candies revised

The Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) has issued the "Administrative notice of partial revision of children’s favorite food quality certification standards (plan)" (Notice No. 2023-278), to collect opinions from the public on the partial revision of the "Children's Food Quality Certification Standards" (Ministry of Food and Drug Safety Notice No. 2019-114, 2019.11.28).
The Notice sets a new standard for the content of sugar alcohol in candies, which should be less than 20%.
