Revision of allergen labeling requirements

The Codex Alimentarius Committee on Food Labeling (CCFL) will meet during the month of May to review the allergen labeling provisions in the General Standard for the Labeling of Prepackaged Foods (NGEAP) (CXS 1-1985) and to develop guidance on Precautionary Allergen Labeling (EPA).
