Draft standard on manufacturing requirements for carbonated beverages published

The National Institute of Quality of Peru (INACAL in Spanish) proposed regulation on “Carbonated beverages (Soft drinks) Requirements”.
This Technical Standard specifies the following points:
- To establish the requirements of carbonated beverages in soft drinks;
- The rules apply to Metal, glass, or plastic containers (generally PET) ready for direct consumption;
- Applicable to Liquid mixtures intended to be diluted in carbonated water according to manufacturer's indications.
The draft is open for public comments until May 20, 2023.
