Requirement of a health certificate for importation of food consignments

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) published the extension of the health certificate requirement along with the importation of food consignments. In continuation of Order no. 1829/Sanitary Certificate/FSSAI/Imports-2021 dated August 3, 2022 and successive extension vide Order no.TIC-20012/2021-IMPORTSFSSAI (E 2475) dated January 10, 2023, this office is receiving representations from various countries and other stakeholders. In light of these representations, the implementation date of such Order is extended until further Order.
