Enzymes approved as processing aids

Food Standards Australia New Zealand (FSANZ)  has approved a draft variation to the table to subsection S18—9(3) of the Code to permit the use of this glucoamylase enzyme as a processing aid. It also approved the draft of the variation of the Code with minor amendments to the specification of identity and purity. The approved variance project will allow the voluntary addition of bLf as a nutrient in IFP in accordance with the Code.

 

  • A1252 – Glucoamylase from GM Aspergillus niger (gene donor: Penicillium oxalicum) as a processing aid. Link
  • A1253 – Bovine lactoferrin in infant formula products. Link
