Amendment on cocoa butter acidity levels

The Ministry of Health published a draft amendment to update and harmonize the regulations for cocoa and chocolate with international regulations. It was noted that Codex Alimentarius had modified the acidity parameter for cocoa butter, which is stated in Codex Stan 86 - 1981; Codex Stan 33-1981 Standard for Olive Oil and Olive Pomace Oil was also revised, making the following changes necessary in the second clause of Article 248 of the Food Sanitary Regulations.
