The Kenya Bureau of Standards (KBS) published DKS 2980:2022 Bamboo toothpicks and skewers – specification. This standard specifies the product types, technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, identification, packaging, transportation and storage of bamboo toothpicks and skewers. This standard applies to bamboo toothpicks and skewers used for tooth picking, food, and beauty industry. This standard does not apply to coated bamboo toothpicks and skewers.
