Requirements for husked rice for human consumption

The Ministry of Commerce & Industry published The general requirements for husked rice, milled rice, enriched and parboiled rice, all for direct human consumption, presented in packaged form or sold loose from the package directly to the consumer. It doesn't apply to other products derived from rice or to glutinous rice. Items related to definitions, classification, requirements, packaging, transportation, storage and labelling are compulsory (Items 3, 4, 5, 8 & 9). Remaining items are voluntary.
