Sesame allergen labeling bill passed in the Senate

Mr. Scott of South Carolina (for himself, Mr. Murphy, Ms. Collins, Mrs. Gillibrand, Mr. Tillis, Mr. Blumenthal, Ms. Baldwin, Mr. Marshall, and Mr. Warnock) introduced the following bill; which was read twice, considered, read the third time, and passed.

Its goal is to improve the health and safety of Americans with food allergies and related disorders, including life-threatening anaphylaxis, food protein-induced enterocolitis syndrome, and eosinophilic gastrointestinal diseases, and for other purposes.
