MFDS Publishes Regulation on the Function Labeling or Food Advertising

This regulation is applied to food intended to have a label indicating or announcing âcontent that may help improving tissues and body functionsâ (hereinafter, âfunctionalityâ).
29 functional ingredients may be labeled and advertised as functional healthy food and also the functionality of new ingredients recognized by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.
