Revision of standards in the food area

The Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency (ANVISA) published a total of three Resolutions of the Administrative Collegiate Council (RDCs) in the Food area. The rules are the result of the process of revision and consolidation of normative acts, whose guidelines are set forth in Decree 10.139/2019.

Resolutions published below:

 

  • DRC 602/2022: repealed 16 obsolete or tacitly repealed regulations.
  • RDC 603/2022: RDC 258/2018 and RDC 468/2021 revised and consolidated, dealing with the issuance of the Certificate of Free Sale for Food Export (CVLEA in Portuguese).
  • CDR 604/2022, revising and consolidating CDR 23/2013 and CDR 150/2017, containing the mandatory fortification of salt with iodine and of wheat and corn flours with iron and folic acid.
