MFDS proposes partial amendment to functional health food regulations

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS) has published Notice No. 2024-473, proposing to amend part of the "Rules for the Implementation of Laws related to Health Functional Foods".
Main contents:
- Customized standards for commercial health functional food vending facilities (draft Appendix 1, item 6).
- Compliance requirements for commercial operators of customized healthy functional food sales (Appendix 4, item 4).
- Subdivision/combination sales and safety management standards (Appendix 4-2 of the proposal).
- Customized compliance requirements for health functional food managers (draft Article 16-5).
- Training for operators and business managers (Article 19 of the proposal).
