The National Institute for Drug and Food Surveillance (INVIMA in Spanish) has issued a notice to remind that, pursuant to the new Resolution n. 810 of 2021, enforced on June 14, 2023, all domestic and imported foods marketed in Colombia must comply with the new nutritional and front warning labeling requirements.
Foods for which the process of label exhaustion was note handled before February 28, 2023 can use stickers for the declaration of nutritional and warning labeling until December 15, 2023.
After this date, foods that do not comply with the nutritional and front warning labeling must be withdrawn from the market by the producer or by the marketer responsible for such foods.
