MHLW reviews method for the analysis of food additives in foods

The Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan (MHLW) has issued the "Announcement 1023 No.2", revising and formulating a number of standards for the detection of additives in food.
The announcement takes effect from the date of publication, while the standard for the detection of copper salt additives in food will become effective on October 22, 2024.
