The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety published Proposed Draft Amendments to "Standards and Specification for Health Functional Foods".
The proposed amendments seek to:
1. Deletion of manufacturing method of Protein.
2. Revision of scientific name of Phellinus linteus extracts (Phillinus linteus → Sanghuangporus sanghuang).
3. Addition of testing methods regarding Saw palmetto fruit extracts.
