MFDS publishes GEM-derived additive evaluation draft

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety, published by consultation publishes the draft of the safety evaluation of several enzymes such as arabinofuranosidase and phospholipase derived from genetically modified microorganisms to be used as food additives. The Ministry considers that since the safety review is based on scientific facts, the opinions presented will be reviewed when based on scientific facts and arguments.
