China Publishes Various National Food Safety Standards and Amendments

The National Health Commission and the State Administration for Market Regulation announced the release of 38 National Food Safety Standards and 4 Amendments along with the new edition of âNational Food Safety Standard for Food Flavoursâ (GB 30616 2020).
The Scientific committee approved the standards in accordance with the provisions of the Food Safety Law of the Peopleâs of Republic of China. All the standards have been provided with the GB Standard numbers and the list includes Food Additives, Nutrition Enhancers, Microbial Tests, Food Contact Materials and Amendments are listed as follows:
GB 29938-2020 National Food Safety Standard General Rules for Food Spices
GB 1886.69-2016 "National Food Safety Standard Food Additive Aspartame Acesulfame" No. 1 amendment
GB 1903.49-2020 National Food Safety Standard Food Nutrition Enhancer Zinc Citrate
GB 4789.29-2020 National Food Safety Standard Food Microbiological Test Burkholderia Gladiolus (Pseudomonas Cocotoxin Subspecies)
