EU - Classification, regulation and typology of food: conceptualization and paradigms

New food concepts and categories are constantly evolving, and it is difficult to communicate this updated nutrition knowledge efficiently and transparently, resulting in knowledge gaps that make it difficult for consumers to make informed healthy eating choices. With
this in mind, this work aims to help clarify new nutrition categories and definitions and help educate consumers, as well as health professionals, about the potential impact of these foods on health, based on current scientific evidence.
