Amendment to the Imported Food Inspection Regulation

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS in English) has published a draft amendment to the Imported Food Inspection Regulations, with the purpose of improving customs clearance and ensuring food safety through the implementation of a system to expedite customs clearance by reducing the application and approval period. It will also include the revision of the requirements related to the procedures for omitting documentary inspection and on-site inspection.
