FDA proposes Administrative Order on GMP and Registration of Health Supplements

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a draft administrative order "Rules and Regulations Covering the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Registration of Health Supplements Product under the Center for Food Regulation and Research (CFRR)", which seeks to ensure the safety, quality, and efficacy of health supplements available in the market.
Specifically, it aims to:
A. Provide the GMP requirement in the licensing of manufacturers of health supplements.
B. Provide registration process and requirements for health supplements.
C. Provide several international references to be used in the regulation and registration of health supplements.
