The new European Nutriscore “will not be mandatory” in France

The Minister of Health and Access to Health Care, Geneviève Darrieussecq, declared on Wednesday, November 13 on franceinfo that the new European nutriscore “will not be mandatory” in France, however, the new algorithm will be offered to all French manufacturers.” Currently, “1,400 French companies have joined the system,” according to the Health Minister.
