Ministry of Health proposes CBD requirements in food for human consumption

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection has published a draft Resolution to establish the sanitary conditions for the use of Cannabidiol (CBD) in food intended for human consumption.
One of the main provisions establishes that the maximum concentration of CBD in food must not exceed 1 mg per 100 grams of food or 100 ml of beverage. In addition, all products must follow strict good manufacturing practices -GMP-, ensuring safety and control of THC levels, which cannot exceed 0.2%.
