Macao: new integrated standards for food additives

On May 1st, the new food additive standard has come into force. This new standard has not only expanded its scope to more types of food additives, it has integrated the previously seperated colorings, sweeteners, preservatives and antioxidants regulations. The Municipal Affairs Bureau (IAM) warns companies to comply with this new standard or face legal consequences.
