The EU provides a more informed breakfast
European Union
Apr 11, 2024
On the 10th of April, the EU parliament voted to revise the so-called "breakfast directives". These directives all regulate breakfast products like honey, fruit juice, jam, and marmalade.
The revision requires to more clearly state the country of origin of honey blends, establish more traceability for honey products, and require a higher amount of fruit per kg for jams and marmalades.
