Italy
Nov 09, 2023
During an event organized by the European Conservatives and Reformists (ECR) and attended by the EU Commissioner for Agriculture, the Italian Minister of Agriculture has declared that Italy is going to ban synthetic foods soon.
In July, Italy has notified at the European Commission a draft law prohibiting the production and marketing of food and feed consisting of, isolated from or produced from cell cultures or tissues derived from vertebrate animals. Now the draft is undergoing the legislative procedure for its approval.
