Changes to food additives and processing aids in the pipeline

The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) proposed to amend the technical regulations on the Safety of Food Additives, flavors and Processing AIDS at the meeting held on August 29, and the relevant amendments will be evaluated and released according to the process.
The changes were developed by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with EAEU legislation in terms of requirements for food additives, as well as in terms of the content of phosphoric acid and food phosphates in meat products. In addition, the changes made in the international and European legislation in the field of safety of food additives, flavorings and technological means, including Codex Alimentarius, were taken into account.
