CFSA Consults on Three New Food Additives, 2'FL Involved

The China National Center for Food Safety Risk Assessment (CFSA) is seeking opinions on three new food additives, including 2'-fucosyllactose, L-alanine, and propylene glycol ester.
The proposed purposes of use are:
- 2'-fucosyllactose: Ingredient for food fortification.
- L-alanine: Additive as a flavor enhancer in fruit and vegetable juices (pulp).
- Propylene glycol alginate: Additive thickener, emulsifier.
