New food additive standards and specifications published

The Ministry of Food and Drug Safety published a series of amendments related to food additive specifications.
- New designation of 6 substances, including 5'-guanylic acid for alignment with international standards
- Establishment of ingredient specifications for 6 substances, including 5'-guanylic acid (II. 4. A. 5'-guanylic acid, potassium 5'-guanylate, calcium 5'-guanylate, 5'-inosinic acid, 5 Calcium '-inosinate, 5'-guanylate-inosinate)
- Establishment of standards for 6 products, including 5'-guanylic acid (II. 5. A. 5'-guanylic acid, potassium 5'-guanylate, calcium 5'-guanylate, 5'-inosinic acid, 5'- potassium inosinate, 5'-guanylate)-calcium inosinate)
- Reorganization of the standards of use for the dye chlorophyll of copper.
- Review of the rules of use of three elements, including copper chlorophyll, so that they can be used in healthy functional foods.
- Review of standards for the use of 8 substances, including calcium gluconate.
