Government presented project to regulate the development of the cannabis industry

The Minister of Productive Development, MatÃas Kulfas presented the bill "Regulatory framework for the development of the medical cannabis and industrial hemp industry." Regarding industrial hemp, Kulfas stressed that the main objective is "to allow the development of this industry, which is a specific variety with a low concentration of non-psychoactive THC". The bill promotes authorization mechanisms for producers and marketers, and security, control and traceability strategies in the chain.
