National provisions on the addition of nitrites to certain meat products published

Commission Decision (EU) 2021/741 of May 5, 2021, on the national provisions notified by Denmark on the addition of nitrites to certain meat products, has been published.
Commission Decision (EU) 2018/702 approved the Danish national provisions on the addition of potassium nitrite (E 249) and sodium nitrite (E 250) (nitrites) to meat products listed in Order No. 1044 on additives in foodstuffs, which the Kingdom of Denmark notified to the Commission by letter dated 10 November 2017, pursuant to Article 114 (4) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU). These national provisions are approved until May 8, 2021.
