FSSAI issues order on methods of analysis of formulated fortifiers and supplements for children

The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) has issued an order specifying the methods of analysis of fortificants in foods and formulated supplements for children.
These fortificants include pyridoxine or vitamin B6, folic acid and zinc for common food like rice, atta and maida and 43 vitamins, minerals and antioxidants for children supplements.
