Japan's Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) recently announced proposed MRL changes for several active ingredients in food

Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) announced revisions to Japan’s maximum residue levels for seven agricultural chemicals (Aldrin/Dieldrin, Isofetamid, Ipflufenoquin, 1,3-Dichloropropene, Dazomet, and Metam/Methyl isothiocyanate), and a pesticide/veterinary drug (Carbaryl). MHLW also revised the analytical method for two veterinary chemicals, Betamethasone and Dexamethasone, in food.
