Japan’s Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare (MHLW) announced revisions to Japan’s maximum residue levels for seven agricultural chemicals (Aldrin/Dieldrin, Isofetamid, Ipflufenoquin, 1,3-Dichloropropene, Dazomet, and Metam/Methyl isothiocyanate), and a pesticide/veterinary drug (Carbaryl). MHLW also revised the analytical method for two veterinary chemicals, Betamethasone and Dexamethasone, in food.
