The National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA in Portuguese) has published a document of Questions and Answers on vegetable oils and fats used in food. The publication clarifies frequent doubts about the new regulation on the subject, i.e. Resolution (RDC) 481/2021 and Normative Instruction (IN) 87/2021.
The objective is to help the bodies that make up the National Health Surveillance System (SNVS in Portuguese) and food manufacturing companies in the application and interpretation of the health legislation.
