Resolution on requirements for lactose-free foods published

The National Institute of Food and Nutrition (INAN in Spanish) presents for public consultation the draft Resolution of the Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare, which approves the Technical Regulation that establishes requirements for packaged foods intended for lactose-restricted diets.
The draft Regulation in its scope states: "shall apply to all packaged foods intended for lactose-restricted diets, oriented to lactose intolerant people, so that they can choose the options that are most suitable for them".
