Public consultation period on Food and Beverage Sanitary Regulation extended

The Ministry of Public Health has announced the extension of the deadline for Public Consultation until Thursday, May 15, 2025, in order to receive opinions on the Food and Beverage Sanitary Regulation. The purpose of this regulation is to establish the sanitary conditions and regulations to be followed in the processes of production, handling, importation, exportation, processing, packaging, storage, distribution, transportation and sale of food intended for human consumption. In addition, it seeks to authorize the commercial establishment to protect the nutrition and health of the population, as well as to supervise compliance with these regulations to ensure the availability of healthy and safe products, as well as their correct advertising.
