MOH announces amendments to the Food Regulations 1985

The Malaysian Ministry of Health (MOH) has published draft (No. 1/2025) amendments to the regulations of the Food Act 1983.
The proposed amendments are as follows:
- Amendment of the Sixteenth Schedule of the Food Regulations 1985.
- Proposed new regulations Regulation 3B Food Safety Assurance Scheme for Imported Foods under Part IIB of the Food Regulations 1985.
- Amendment of the Food Hygiene Regulations 2009.
- Amendment of the Food (Combination of Violations) Regulations 2017.
