MOFA proposes new regulation on alcoholic beverages

The Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry (MOFA) has published a proposal to develop regulations on the quality and safety management of imported and exported alcoholic beverages.
The proposal provides that importers of alcoholic beverages must apply for a special license from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs prior to importation.
Imported alcoholic beverages must be accompanied by a certificate of origin issued by the competent authority of the exporting country, documents certifying that the product complies with Mongolian technical regulations and other materials
