New wine bill announced

The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Food of Slovenia proposed the draft Wine Law. The new draft covers aspects related to the cultivation of wine grapes, licenses, registration of wine producing companies, procedures for the registration of wine products with geographical indication and procedures for the evaluation of aromatized wine products.
The draft also stimulates that labels must comply with the requirements of Regulation 1308/2013/EU and others.
The public consultation period ends on May 19, 2025.
