Government approved the Oenological Practices Regulation

The Government approved the Regulation on Permitted Oenological Practices and Restrictions on the Processing and Preservation of Wine Products, a decision taken to ensure higher standards in wine production, contribute to the improvement of product quality and protect the interests of consumers. In this way, wines produced in the Republic of Moldova will strengthen their attractiveness both on the domestic and international markets.
“The regulation of oenological practices contributes to achieving a higher level of consumer protection, avoiding deceptive practices and ensuring fair competition among producers,” said Minister of Agriculture and Food Industry Ludmila Catlabuga.
