New Draft Regulation on Food Supplements Published for Comments

The General Directorate of Food Safety and Control of Turkey has issued Circular No. 536, seeking comments on the "Draft Regulation on The Safety Management of Food Supplement"s, for a feedback period up to November 30, 2023.
The main provisions of the draft include definitions and terminology, application conditions for food supplement production and operation enterprises (including importers) and product registration, official safety assessment and approval procedures, production, processing and inspection requirements, and product traceability requirements.
