Proposed amendment to maximum sodium content in food

The Ministry of Health and Social Protection has submitted a draft amendment to Resolution 2013 of 2020 that modifies articles 2, 3, 6, 7, 8 and technical annexes number 1 and 2.

The draft amendment defines the maximum sodium content for processed foods, in the framework of the National Strategy to Reduce Sodium Intake.

Deadlines for comments is October 28th, 2023.
