Standards for canned fruit revised

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has revised the canned fruit standards, which will come into effect on the date of publication. Canned fruit (product/commodity) produced under the Commodity Specification must meet the requirements specified in the applicable United States Standards for Grades of Canned Fruit (U.S. Standards) effective on the date of the Solicitation/Invitation for Bid (IFB). The U.S. Standards are published separately and are incorporated and made a part of the Commodity Specification.
