FSANZ calls for submission on use of human milk oligosaccharide components in infant formula

With Circular 245-23, the Food Standards Australia and New Zealand (FSANZ) has invited written submissions on the assessment of the application A1265 on the voluntary use of four human milk oligosaccharide components as nutrients in infant formula.
It is understood that the four ingredients are 2' -fucosyllactose/dicfucosyllactose (2'-FL/DFL) mixture, lactose n-tetrasaccharide, 6' -sialactose sodium salt and 3' -sialactose sodium salt, which are produced by microbial fermentation.
