Updated ingredient requirements for dietary supplements

The Secretariat of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries and the Secretariat of Health Quality published Joint Resolution 9/2022 on the characteristics and specifications of ingredients used in food supplements. The ingredients are:


  • Potassium chloride
  • Isomalt oligosaccharides
  • Trehalose
  • Isomaltulose
  • L - carnitine
  • Carnitine (hydrochloride)
  • Electrolytic iron
  • Iron (ii) fumarate
  • Iron (ii) lactate
  • Iron (ii) sulfate
  • Taurine
  • Collagen
  • Lutein
  • Zeaxanthin
  • Resveratrol
  • Coenzyme q10
  • ß-hydroxy-ß-methylbutyrate (hmb)
  • Beta-alanine (ß-ala)
