The National Advisory Committee on Standardization of the Ministry of the Economy (CCONNS in Spanish) published Draft Mexican Official Standard PROY-NOM-257-SE-2021, Alcoholic beverages -Raicilla -Designations, specifications, commercial information and test methods, he notified draft Mexican Official Standard establishes the designations of, and specifications to be met by, raicilla produced and packaged within the area protected by the appellation of origin, as well as the commercial information to be displayed on its labels when marketed in Mexico and abroad.
