Public consultation of the sanitary regulatory project for processed foods published

On August 12, the National Agency for Sanitary Regulation, Control and Surveillance (ARCSA in Spanish) published the normative project: âsubstitute technical sanitary regulations for processed foods, processing plants, distribution, commercialization and transportation establishments of processed foods and collective feeding â. The purpose of this technical sanitary regulation is to establish the conditions of Good Manufacturing Practices for food processing plants; as well as the requirements that the manufacturing, production, processing, preparation, packaging, packing, assembly, transportation, storage, import, distribution and marketing processes of processed foods for human consumption must meet.
